Freedom Through Disobedience was the presidential address delivered by C. R. Das at the annual session of the Indian National Congress at Gaya in December 1922. Das quoted extensively from The New State (1918) by Mary Parker Follett. A few days later, Iqbal wrote to Maulana Abdul Majid Daryabadi to say that Das had presented the same spiritual principle in a political manner which Iqbal had expounded in his philosophical poem, Secrets and Mysteries (1915-18).

At the Project Gutenberg page of the book, you can read the address as HTML or download it in epub and Kindle formats with or without images, or simply as plain text.
