Be the Leader You Need

“There is a magic power in your own hands. Take your vital decisions—they may be grave and momentous and far-reaching in their consequences. Think a hundred times before you take any decision, but once a decision is taken, stand by it as one man.”

Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

The Course

The Course is designed to facilitate the thought process of bringing social change through a change in an individual’s perception of his/her worldview. It explores the interconnected elements of History, Art, Spirituality and Politics strictly from the point of those who created Pakistan and thus had a significant role in shaping the destiny of the world we now live in.

The course will also explore the similarities and connections between the self-development of an individual and the evolution of a nation or a community, and how lessons learnt at one place can be applicable to other places or people.

Who can benefit from this course?

  • to bring a change in society and yourself according to the guidance left behind by the pioneers of Pakistan
  • to see the deeper connections between various spheres of life, from a point of view that has played an important role in directing the course of recent history

Modules

1. Jinnah’s Pakistan up to 2026

From the point of view of Quaid-i- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, our history from 1887 to 2026 ought to be divided into seven stages of twenty years each. The first module introduces the participants to these seven stages, with parallels and connections with world history.

2. Simorgh: Mysteries of the Muslim Renaissance

The seven stages of the current phase in history, introduced in the previous module, signify a process of evolution which can best be understood through the ideals presented by the most popular writer of each stage. The second module aims at introducing the participants to these writers and their respective ideals in their true cultural context.

3. Ten Political Principles of Jinnah

The third module consists of ten political principles through which the shared ideals of a society can be transformed into tangible realities within a given timeframe.

4. The Philosophy of Iqbal in 9 Simple points

The fourth module presents nine simple points for understanding what has been described in the previous modules, i.e. the collective evolution, the significance of shared literary ideals and the effectiveness of certain political principles. The nine points which help us grasp these realities are also the essence of religious and philosophical thinking according to Iqbal, as seen in this module.

5. Conscious evolution: education for the future

The final module aims at preparing the participants for practically implementing what they have learnt in the other four modules.
